"A nickel ain't worth a dime anymore.”
One of my most prized possessions is a 1956 Topps Yogi Berra baseball card I bought at E Gads! (anybody remember E Gads! ...?) when I was 8 or 9-years-old. I think I paid 10 bucks. Right now, I wouldn't take a crisp hundred-dollar bill for it.
Check out these Yogi-isms. A sample:
"The future ain't what it used to be."
"I never said most of the things I said."
"You can see a lot by just looking."
"Always go to other people's funerals, otherwise they won't come to yours."
